Two Milton residents come together, with the help of hundreds of shoe donations, to create this memorial at Victoria Park on May 31. The shoes that sit here represent the remains of 215 children recently found in unmarked graves at the site of a former residential school in Kamloops, B.C. This memorial will remain for 215 hours (9 days). One hour devoted to each child who never got to go home.
