Milton MPP Parm Gill announced James Dick Construction Ltd. must complete a project-specific environmental assessment (EA) for its proposed Reid Road Reservoir Quarry in Milton. The EA launched on Friday, July 30 and could take up to two years to complete.

Action Milton held a rally on July 21 to demand Ontario Premier Doug Ford keep his promise to stop a proposed quarry in Campbellville. The group also handed a petition with over 1,000 signatures to Milton MPP Parm Gill's office.
