The need for blood is increasing
Canadian Blood Services is seeing an increased need for blood donations. The agency has made modifications to make it easier and safer for you to donate. Go to their website for full details and to find the nearest clinic to you.
A new way to borrow at the Burlington Public Library
Burlington Public Library has redesigned the way they lend physical materials in the wake of the pandemic. They will be reopening two branches with a new online hold service, complete with returns spending time in quarantine.

Oakville MPP Stephen Crawford addresses why Halton is not moving into Stage 2 on friday, as many other parts of the province are.
Halton Asks for Stage 2
The Premier announced that many parts of Ontario will start phase 2 on Friday, but Halton was excluded. The Regional Chair along with all four Mayors have formally requested that this decision be evaluated, as they believe our COVID-19 numbers are low enough to warrant entering phase 2. Burlington's Mayor Marianne Meed Ward explains:
