Hundreds march in Black Lives Matter peaceful protest in Oakville
Oakville March organized a peaceful protest on June 4 at the Oakville Public Library Central Branch. Hundreds of people came together to show their support in the Black Lives Matter campaign. Together their goal is to raise awareness in their quest for peace, justice and equality.

Calls to report child abuse decreased since pandemic began
Halton Children's Aid Society and Halton Police have released the current statistics on calls made to report child abuse. Both are concerned by the numbers and are asking the public for help.
Collisions were down in Halton says Halton Police
Halton residents for the most part are doing great when it comes to social distancing. That's according to Halton Police who says calls to the Covid-19 hotline have gone down. The number of collisions have also gone down.
Canada Moves Across the Country
Around the Bay Road Race is joining running groups across the country for Global Running Day. They are encouraging you to take part in Canada Moves on June 3rd. The free event can be done in a time convenient to you. All you have to do is register at raceroster.com. Milton MP Adam van Koeverden is taking part. They are also raising money for the Canadian Mental Health Association.
