Take a step back in time at Hutchison House museum for a fun morning of settler activities including cooking on the fire and old fashioned crafts. Kids will have the option to dress in period costume. This program is August 7 from 9:30am - 12pm. The cost is $25 per attendant and pre-registration is required. For ages 6-12. Children are encouraged to bring their own snacks.

Join us for an unforgettable afternoon of music as Banda Taverna, Brazil' premier Celtic band, teams up with Peterborough's own fiddle sensation, Irish Millie!!  This dynamic trio brings a high energy performance blending traditional Celtic tunes with South American songs & rhythms.

In this activity children will create a variety of different crafts featuring bugs including sun catcher dragonflies, coffee filter butterflies and more! Lemonade Stand Day - Saturday August 23rd, 2025. Peterborough and Area. If life gives you lemons, make lemonade. On Saturday August 23rd Peterborough Area Kids will be setting up Lemonade Stands everywhere. Lemonaders will be providedwith lemonade ingredients, cups and signage to set up their Lemonade Stands. Inreurn Leonaders will provide the proceeds to support  Canada's only Free Accredited Zoo, with the largest children's play area in the County, their own Peterborough Riverview Park and Zoo.  As well, the Kiwanis Club of Scott's Plains, in Celebration of its Fifty (50) Years supporting programs which support idsin our community will benefit. Kids Need Kiwanis!
