The Friends of the Peterborough Library will host a Children's Book Sale on June 21st from 10:00 am until 2:00 pm. in the Story Corner of the Children's section on the lower level of the Peterborough Library. This Sale will be held in conjunction with the Library's launch of their children's Summer Reading Program.  Families can purchase a wide variety of children's books from infant picture books to those for young adults at a fraction of publishers' prices. While we work tirelessly to continue to raise funds for many local charities, thru efforts such as "Retrunable Bottle & Aluminum Pop Can" collections, we are also in parallel working to raise funds to ensure our community centre continues to be available for our community.

Get a head start on your holiday fun with several Christmas themed crafts including salt dough ornaments, Popsicle stick gingerbread houses and more! The program runs from Thursday July 10  from 9:30am - 12pm. The cost is $25 per attendant and pre-registration is required. For ages 6-12. Children are encouraged to bring their own snacks.
