Episode #15 - Niagara Film Festival Marilyn Monroe Look-Alike Contest
This week's "YourTV History" goes back to the spring of 1998, as Niagara prepared for it's first ever Niagara Film Festival! Part of the theme for the Festival was "Marilyn Monroe", and a Marilyn Monroe Look-Alike Contest was held to find a spokesperson for the inaugural event.
Walk for Muscular Dystrophy
The annual Niagara Region Walk for Muscular Dystrophy took place at Jaycee Gardens in St. Catharines. Close to 200 people walked the 5km route to raise funds and awareness for people living with MD! Michelle Cuthbert reports.

Janice Thomson Leaves The Niagara On The Lake Chamber of Commerce
After an illustrious 18 year career heading up The Niagara-On-The-Lake Chamber of Commerce, Janice Thomson is stepping down to become the President and CEO at Niagara Falls Tourism. Members of the NOTL community came out to thank Janice for her years of service and The Source was there to get reactions from Janice and those in attendance.

The 26th annual McHappy Day took place across Canada on Wednesday, May 8th. The Source stopped by the Ontario Street location in St. Catharines to help celebrate and raise money for Ronald McDonald House Charities. Lori Taraba reports.
