Activists gathered outside Halton Regional Police Headquarters to protest the careless driving causing death charge laid on the truck driver who hit animal activist Regan Russell on June 19th. Some of the descriptions in the video are graphic, viewer discretion is advised.  

Despite consistent efforts in addressing impaired driving across the region, it seems some people are just not getting the message. Halton Police have laid over 30 charges in July so far.

The City of Burlington is implementing an online registration process for Lowville Park. Mayor Marianne Meed Ward says it's not only a way to deal with social distancing, but also deal with parking issues. The online reservation program will be ready by July 30.
