Mayor Mike Moore, Reeve Cathy Regier, Councillor Neil Nicholson, and CAO Robert Tremblay engaged the government on some key files, including farm plastics, Muskrat Lake, Provincial Parks, Ottawa River flooding/water levels, infrastructure and roads funding, natural gas expansion, reliable internet and cell service, OPP detachment boundaries, and sustainable funding for the Whitewater Seniors Home Support & Active Living pilot.

During that targeted patrol between Nov 16 and 26th, 2 drivers were charged for failing to stop for a school bus with one being a the driver of a tractor trailer. the fine for not stopping is between 400 to 2000 dollars, with 6 demerit points being taken. and after the first offence the penalties only get steeper.

Pembroke Waterfront Park is going to be getting a facelift in the form of an all inclucive Aboretum that will create a space for Entertainment, Relaxation and Community.

Winners of the Spring Lotto with the PRH Foundation were at Dick Plummer marine and sport to pick up the brand new pontoon boat. Audry and Leo Dunphy of Harlow Ontario took part in the lotto in hopes of helping the hospital and had their eye on one particular item.
