The Ontario government has announced schools will remain in an at-home learning model for the rest of the year with the expectation to open for in-school learning for September. The Muslim Advisory Council of Canada is calling on all levels of government to combat Islamophobia. This comes after a hit-and-run on a family of five in London, Ontario. Four of the family members were killed, leaving a nine-year-old boy recovering in hospital with serious but non-life threatening injuries. The Ontario Secondary School Teachers' Federation (OSSTF) is speaking out against the government's plan to offer virtual learning as a permanent choice for students in the 2021/2022 school year. We spoke with OSSTF District 20 president Cindy Gage.
